Softball Camp

Summer Softball Training

Summer softball training will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am-11:00am. Please make this a priority as it is a great way to show your skills before tryouts in August. These trainings are for players in incoming grades 9-12. Here are the dates for training. Again, we graduated a lot of players this year and there are many varsity spots up for competition!

July: 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 27-30 (camp)

First day of practice/tryouts

The first day of practice/tryouts is on August 10th. Please make sure you have an updated physical and impact test. Impact test dates will be sent as summer approaches. This is before school begins so please make sure that your athlete knows and will be available. Times are TBD but will most likely start at 3pm for that first week.

Below is a link to the Parent Playbook for Final Forms. This is where you will upload all of the needed documents. All athletes need to have everything completed in Final Forms before trying out. This includes a physical, impact test, and a pre-participation form. Incoming sophomores and seniors that played last year might already have a physical and impact test on file. Incoming freshman and juniors will most likely need complete both. Impact test and physicals are good for 2 years. Please make sure this is done soon. Impact test dates will be available the week before tryouts. If you already have a Final Forms account, just log in and update!

Band App

I am going to try a new way of communicating important information to both parents and players through the Band app. Please join if you have a player in the program to keep updated on any changes that I need to communicate quickly. This is only for parents and players that are currently in the program or will be in the program this coming fall.

Varsity Travels to Warrensburg

Varsity is now in the Central Missouri State Tournament on September 25th and 26th. We will leave on Thursday, September 24th and return after we are done playing on September 26th. We will stay at the Comfort Inn in Warrensburg. 609 East Russell Ave, Warrensburg, MO 64093. (660) 429-4848.

BBQ

Our 5th annual BBQ will be on Saturday, September 19th. We will host both Holt and Jackson in a 3-team round robin. Varsity will be on Field 1 and JV will be on Field 2. This will be a great atmosphere with 6 teams on campus at the same time. We are always looking for donations (meat, sides, drinks, raffle items) and people to help (grill, concession stand, collecting tickets).
