Varsity Wins STL Sportswear Invitational!

This past weekend, varsity won the STL Sportswear Invitational by going 4-0. They beat Warrention 17-2, Parkway Central 11-1, and Lutheran St. Charles 15-0. Then in the final game of the tournament, the Spartans were tied in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs when Alex Meyer drove in Nola Patterson with a game winning, walk-off hit.

Thank you to St. Louis Sportswear and to Scott Harris for sponsoring this event for the 2nd year in a row. We had both fields going with great teams from all around the state!

Program Day

Howell Central Softball will host their annual program day and bbq on Saturday, September 13th. We will welcome Zumwalt East and Hazelwood West on the varsity side and Troy and Hazelwood West on the JV side. This will be a big event with great food. Come out and support your Spartans!

Varsity Travels to KC

Varsity is now in the Liberty North Tournament on September 26th and 27th. We will leave on Thursday, September 25th. We will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Liberty, MO. The address is 8551 Church Rd. Kansas City, MO 64157.

BBQ

Our 4th annual BBQ will be on Saturday, September 13th. We will host both Zumwalt East and Hazelwood West in a 3-team round robin. Varsity will be on Field 1 and JV will be on Field 2. This will be a great atmosphere with 6 teams on campus at the same time. We are always looking for donations (meat, sides, drinks, raffle items) and people to help (grill, concession stand, collecting tickets). If you are interested or have any suggestions, please let me, Michelle Meyer, or Chris Dunlap know.
